Ms. L.A.D.Y. is a longstanding, supportive group for middle school girls with the following priorities:

​

• Prepare participants to be leaders on campus and in their communities.

• Promote education and teach participants to identify and access resources to ensure academic success.

• Provide opportunities for participants to discover different college and career options.

• Teach social-emotional learning skills and provide opportunities to ensure participants are well-rounded young ladies.

 

The following are the essential components of the program: 

​

• Social-emotional learning (SEL) core competencies: self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship skills, and responsible decision making

• Facilitated by an ABA Behavior Technician

• Building positive relationships

• Engaging activities that build and reinforce SEL competencies

 

Ms. L.A.D.Y.  participants learn the importance of community and the value of community service.  Through community partnerships and programs, participants network with inspiring women, from diverse backgrounds.
