EJA Fellowship

Education Justice In Action is a nonprofit organization supporting public education transformation through a FREE educational justice fellowship. The Educational Justice in Action Fellowship (EJAF) is a transformative, nine month fellowship designed for educational leaders (principals, district administrators, board members, and community advocates). Unlike traditional leadership programs that focus on management and tasks, EJAF centers educational justice through leadership development focused on system design and leading people. It provides the psychological tools, data literacy, and adaptive leadership strategies required to design a system that eliminates long-standing inequalities, inequities and injustices, as well as  lead people through the behavioral changes necessary for true systemic reform and sustainability.

 

EJAF Fellows will receive professional learning on the science of systems change, as well strategic planning and coaching to support Fellows throughout the fellowship to move a result for an identified  population of most vulnerable students. By the end of the nine month fellowship, the EJAF Fellows will not just have a vision and value for educational justice—they will have the capability, capacity and blueprint to execute and scale.

 

EJAF is a no cost opportunity for Fellows.  This is intentional to eliminate the financial barrier for leaders and districts who have a vision for educational justice, but not the financial resources to invest in the leadership development, coaching, and strategic planning necessary to achieve it.
